postively positive
first – happy new year y’all. 2008 is going to rock like no year ever before. i am completely positive.
that’s right, my new year’s resolution is to spew forth the most positive happy attitude as humanly possible. even to extent of near nausiam.
and although i’m breaking some old habits, i’m keeping some old ones…i’m back at work and i’m back blogging.
so here’s some fun stuff to kick off the year…
the guy i was “dating” before Christmas who basically had some sort of “agreement” with an out of town girlfriend about not “doing the full-on deed” with anyone else – called me today at work to announce he’s “available” and that he’d like to take that “last step” with me. because he was “having fun” with me.
that’s right. you heard.
to which, i again, broke into laughter and said, “it doesn’t work that way”.
to which he said “oh”.
what the heck is going on with people!!??? i mean it’s not like i’m a show that you can TIVO. you can’t just put me on pause and then come back to watch the rest when your ready. AMAZING. truly amazing.
And I will find a positive side to all this, like realizing how much self respect i truly do have for myself. And realizing that it was a serious loss on his part and smart gain on mine that we never “closed the deal”.
i notice i’m talking “in quotes” alot.
anyway – i’m beside excited to go to London next month. I’ve started making all sorts of preparations and it’s just simply thrilling.
what else – oh! i’m getting my hair chopped off tonight! Yippee. Sassy, sexy bob here i come – long tangled, frizzy mess – won’t miss ya!
in general i’m feeling pretty darn good. life is what you make it. and although i’m still very unsure of my direction long term, i know short term and that’s all i can focus on for now. and that’s ok.
gee, this was like a stewart smalley segment.
i apologize profusely.
positively.

The TIVO comment made me laugh at work!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have fun getting your hair chopped. I finally did the same this year (thank you hormones!) and I love it! For me it was no more pain in the ass hair and no more looking like a throwback from the 70’s!
